Our rotational breeding programme:
As part of the introduction of this "new" breed to Europe, it is of great importance to insure we don't breed ourselves into a corner. With only very limited numbers in Europe, that would be very easy to do.
Our aim is to always only breed a small number of foals from one mare, then train her and sell her as a riding horse to a good home. The mare will then be replaced by a younger mare, already bred to a stallion in the US, thereby ensuring a good broad genepool to take hold here in Europe.
