Buy-back policy: The welfare of the horses we sell is our primary concern. Of course we hope that the horse and you have a long happy relationship together, but should you for any reason whatsoever no longer want to, or be in the position to keep your Spanish Mustang, we would ask you to bring him/her back to us and we will either buy them back for a fair price, re-home or retire them here. What we don't want is them to disappear in the netherworld of the horse trade! They are too special for that.
Visitors are always welcome by prior arrangement.
Pretty 2002 Blue Varnish Roan appaloosa mare, 14.1hh.
She has produced a beautiful healthy filly in 2006 by Crazy Legs and a colt by Brego in June 2007. She is a true appaloosa type Indian Pony with a lovely convex head and smooth effortless movements that she no doubt inherited from her sire Troubleshooter. Restless Wind is now for sale as part of our rotational programme.
Restless is a LWO carrier through her sire, and care must be taken to only breed her to LWO negative/non-overo stallions.
She has been bred to Mita Kola for a March 2010 foal.
She has started saddle training and is taking everything calmly and in her stride. With several short rides under her belt one could be forgiven for thinking she has done it all her life!
She is a wonderful, game riding horse and is smooth beyond belief.
She is sweet to handle and very respectful. and has a great sense of humor!
Easy to catch, lead, load and OK with farrier and vet. She is like all ranch raised Spanish Mustangs a little shy with people at first, but once familiar, she is very friendly. She is a dominant mare in the herd, and an excellent brood mare. She will do well in either Western or Endurance.
Restless wants an experienced horse person to bond with who can bring her on and get the best out of her. This mare has bags of potential and excellent blood lines!

This Hidalgo look-alike would have been an Indian Chief's horse had he been born into that era. Clyde is bold, precocious and fearless. He shows his Spanish ancestry off very well and would be well suited to a show/competition & breeding home. He is showing all the signs of being stallion material, being correct in conformation as well as very typey and of good temperament.
This is a very reluctant sale and it will have contractual conditions.
He will only be sold to a home where he will be kept entire and made available for the European gene pool in years to come, be it via live cover or frozen semen.
His future owner should be experienced in handling and training youngstock in a fair but firm way, ideally using natural horsemanship methods.
There should also be the desire to promote the breed, either showing or competing him
He will be ready for a new home from December 2009.

The old nursery rhyme "Sugar and Spice and all things nice..." comes to mind when considering this filly. She is gentle and sensitive and beautiful. Her unusual markings would make her the jewel in any breeding project and a head turner at any show or competition.
She is quite possibly a keeper, so a sale has not been decided yet on this lovely filly. But please don't hesitate to contact us if you are interested.
From December onwards our broodmares, Adena and Teton Magic, will also be offered for sale with return of foal after weaning. Both mares are of foundation bloodlines and excellent producers. Both have only had basic handling but are good to trim, load and with the vet.
